BIC Media deliveres enhanced E-Books to iBookstore
When starting the iBookstore in May 2010 BIC Media customers were the first publishers who sold their books on the iBookstore. And also the issue of enhanced e-books - books with multimedia elements - BIC Media customers take a leading role. With these lavish books a new generation of e-book starts. Just in time for the Book Fair BIC Media has delivered the first enhanced e-book of Verlagsgruppe Lübbe to the iBookstore. In addition to the book, the audio book and a standardized e-book version of Ken Follett's "Sturz der Titanen" Bastei Lübbe published an enhanced e-book the first time. This enhanced e-book version not only contains the unabridged novel, but also additional information of historical figures, places and events. Family trees and maps illustrate the history and Ken Follett reportes in video interviews about his personal relationship to the novel and his fascination with the topic.
